When there is a search on Google, the search engine responds to it and shows a search results page. It is called SERP.

On a SERP, Google generally shows paid Google Ads results, featured snippets, organic search results, and video results. 

Nowadays, the SERP includes many other things as well, like answer graphs, image boxes, news boxes, shopping results, etc. on the basis of a query.
